MANZANITA TREE DESIGNS

Our members hand-designed manzanita ornamental trees and fashion jewelry to raise funds to help Han-Schneider International Children’s Foundation send meal packs and soybeans to North Korean orphans. The 130 student volunteers spent a total of 6,500 man-hours to decorate 150 trees according to their own artistic whim.  These unique, handcrafted art pieces were sold at auctions.  Our fundraisers also include annual book drives, garage sales, bake sales, and monthly recycling drives. Our student efforts have raised a total of 16,000 dollars to date.
